Once your grill is clean, apply some vegetable oil using a rag or folded paper towels. This coating of oil will prevent your grill from rusting and food from sticking to the grill next time.
Remove leftover ash
Remove leftover ash from the base of your grill. This will prevent getting ash stuck in the vents at the bottem of the grill. Making it difficult controling the temperature during cooking.
Clean the inside of your grill
When all the ash has been removed from the grill, you can clean the inside using dish soap and a brush. After you’re done, make sure to dry the inside using a towel to prevent the inside from rusting.
Replace your grills
Now place your grill back into position. You are now ready to store your barbecue or add charcoal for your next use!
